It's your last chance to register for the BSWAT Payment Scheme

Thousands of people with disability who work, or have worked, in Australian Disability Enterprises (ADEs, also known as ‘sheltered workshops’) may be entitled to a payment through the Australian Government’s BSWAT Payment Scheme.

To receive a payment, a person must register with the Scheme before Sunday 30 April 2017.

Registering will not affect a person’s current job, their wage or their ADE.

People can register by calling 1800 799 515 or emailing or following this link by completing a registration form online.

The Government estimates there are many thousands of people who are eligible for a payment. PWDA encourages people to register as we are concerned that many people will miss out. There is support available from PWDA – email , or you can contact the following advocates:

Sam French, PWDA on 02 9370 3100 / 0409 029 730

Mary Mallett, DANA on 0439 399 755

Kairsty Wilson, AED Legal Centre (03) 9639 4333
