People with Disability Australia (PWDA) is convening an Organisational Review Advisory Group to review and provide expert advice on organisational and constitutional best practice.
We are seeking expressions of interest from people with disability with Board and/or Board Advisory and senior governance experience (mandatory) to join this Advisory Group and support the PWDA CEO and Board in reviewing existing and future organisational practices. Expressions of interest close 11:59pm AEDT Friday 28 March 2025.
About the Organisational Review Advisory Group
The Advisory Group will work closely with the PWDA CEO and Board to review and provide guidance on proposed changes to organisational practices. This includes:
- Reviewing organisational practices and providing advice and input on best practices.
- Providing advice on, and reviewing, PWDA’s constitution as appropriate
Who we are looking for
PWDA welcome expressions of interest from people with disability with:
- Board and/or Board Advisory Group and senior governance experience, particularly in the not-for-profit and disability sectors or advocacy organisations.
- A demonstrated commitment to disability rights and leadership for people with disability.
- Expertise in governance frameworks and compliance obligations.
Commitment Required
- The Advisory Group will consist of up to seven members, including PWDA staff and external governance experts selected via this EOI process.
- The Advisory Group will be chaired by the PWDA CEO.
- Virtual meetings will be held as needed, as frequently as fortnightly, between now and August 2025.
- This is a volunteer position and not remunerated.
