  1. I urgently need to open a bank account I have no photo id otherwise I will get cut off my DSP pension n my bills are all up in arms I struggle to cope out here with this stuff I’m stressing out about this.olesse can sumone help me

  2. I need to apply for a Proof of Age card which will contain a photo of myself which I will need in the future. In order to apply for a Proof of Age card, one requirement is to provide 3 forms of ID, one of which must contain a photo. The problem I have is I don’t have photo ID so I accessed the ‘How To Access Photo Identification in Australia’ website and in order to access the ‘How To Access Photo Identification’ in Australia, I need to again provide 3 forms of ID and if I’m understanding correctly, one of those forms of ID has to be photo ID. As above mentioned, I don’t have any current photo ID but do have a driver’s licence issued by the Dept. of Transport and Main Roads QLD and also have an expired SA drivers licence.
I’ve recently spoken to a friend of mine who has just got his own Proof of Age card and said that he didn’t need to provide photo ID as a form of Identification because he didn’t have photo ID to provide. Any source of help in this matter will be gratefully appreciated..

    1. Hi Stefan,

PWDA do not have specific information relating to the rules for each state and would not want to risk providing you with incorrect information. We recommend you contact the responsible agency that issues the cards in your local state for more specialised information. E.g if you are currently in Queensland then you will need to contact the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
