We put out a media release early this year asking for specific measures to protect our community during COVID-19, and another sharing the results of our survey on the experiences of people with disability during COVID-19.
The Disability Royal Commission held their 5th public hearing on the experiences of people with disability during the pandemic, and published a report with 22 recommendations.
For more details on what we’re asking the government to do, check out our COVID-19 Disability Plan post.
We’ve also signed on to a call for the Australian Senate to establish a Select Committee with broad powers to review and report on the Federal Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
