Join People with Disability Australia (PWDA) for a free workshop about healthy relationships.

This workshop is for people with disability who prefer information in plain language and a relaxed, interactive learning environment.

At the workshop we will talk about:

  • Different types of relationships.
  • What healthy, unhealthy and unsafe relationships can look like.
  • Your rights, choices, consent and personal boundaries.
  • Early warning signs that something might not be right.
  • Where to get help and who you can talk to if you are worried.

The workshop uses:

  • Plain language.
  • Interactive activities.
  • A supportive and welcoming environment.

Family members, carers and support workers are welcome to attend if requested by the participant.

Light catering and refreshments and will be provided.

  • Where: Social Hall, The Place Charlestown Community Centre, Frederick Street, Charlestown NSW 2290
  • Workshop start: 10.00am
  • Workshop end: 2:30pm
  • Cost: Free
