How can researchers and advocacy organisations work together in partnership and collaboration in research? Join us for a practical, interactive session exploring how advocacy organisations can help shape and strengthen disability research. This Evidence to Action session will launch new research on what advocacy organisations need be co-design partners, and share practical tools to help make research partnerships stronger, more ethical, and more impactful.
What to expect:
Expect short provocations, stories, and tools, with plenty of interaction.
- Launch of the DANA report: Co-design Partnerships: A Mutual Exchange
- Pass the Mic: advocacy leaders introduce who they are, what they bring to research, and what researchers need to know
- Interactive exercises: myth-busting, scenario swaps, and paired reflections on what works in partnerships
- Practical resources: checklists, templates, and FAQs you can take away and use straight away
Accessibility: The event will include Auslan interpretation, live captions, and Easy English resources. Please let us know about any other access needs when you register.
