What you need to know
While the NSW Electoral Commission (EC) will not be making iVote (internet voting on personal computers, tablet devices and smartphones) or braille accessible options for voters with disability available at this election, they are offering a number of alternative options for voting in this election.
You can take a friend, family member or support worker with you if you need help to vote, or you can ask an election official. Voting centres are open from 8am to 6pm on Saturday 25 March 2023. Many voting centres are staffed by bilingual election officials. These officials will be wearing stickers with the language(s) they speak.
People with disability are also eligible to use early voting options, including voting early at an early voting centre on Saturday 18 March or from Monday, 20 March to Friday 24 March or apply for a postal voting pack which will be sent out from Monday 13 March onwards.
People who are blind or have low vision can vote by telephone.
