PWDA Online Forum: Two Years on from the Disability Royal Commission

Join us on Tuesday 23 September 2025, for an important event brining together people with disability, advocates, policymakers, and community members to discuss the progress since the Disability Royal Commission.

Speakers:
- Trinity Ford – President PWDA
- Megan Spindler-Smith – Acting CEO PWDA
- Tahlia-Rose Vanissum – Woppaburra Woman, First Nations Disability and Gender Justice Advocate, and PWDA member.
- Dr. Alastair McEwin AM – Former Australian Disability Discrimination Commissioner, former Commissioner of the Disability Royal Commission, and PWDA member.
PWDA President Trinity Ford will deliver the opening remarks, setting the stage for the discussion. Following this, PWDA Acting CEO Megan Spindler-Smith will facilitate a live panel featuring PWDA Acting Director Systemic Advocacy Michelle Keogh and special guest Tahlia-Rose Vanissum.
Additionally, Dr. Alastair McEwin AM, former Commissioner of the Disability Royal Commission, will provide a recorded reflection.
