To have your say, you can:
- Register your interest to join a Disability Inclusion Action Plan focus group
- Complete the Blue Mountains City Council Disability Inclusion Action Plan survey

Focus Groups
Who can participate in the focus groups?
This opportunity is open to people with disability, carers, family and support workers who are aged 18 years and over and live, work, study in or frequently visit the Blue Mountains area.
Focus group details
There will be three (3) focus groups. You can choose to attend a focus group on:
- Wednesday 24 June 2026, 10:00am – 12:00pm AEST
- Wednesday 24 June 2026, 1:00pm – 3:00pm AEST
- Thursday 25 June 2026, 10:00am – 12:00pm AEST
The focus groups will be held in-person at accessible venues in Katoomba and Springwood, with the option to join online via Microsoft Teams
Interviews
A small number of one-on-one interviews are also available. To support a balanced and inclusive process, participants will be allocated to either a focus group or interview based on factors including preference, representation and access needs.
Each session will run for no longer than two hours.
Focus group payment
If selected, you will be paid $100 in total for your attendance. Payment will be paid in the form of a gift card.
Your privacy
All personal information will remain anonymous and will not be linked to you in any reports or findings. Any personal information you provide will be handled in line with PWDA’s Privacy Policy.
