PWDA announces our new Board and farewells outgoing Board Directors

At the PWDA 2025 Annual General Meeting on Thursday 13 November, PWDA members approved the appointments of new Board Directors.

At the People with Disability Australia (PWDA) 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 13 November, PWDA members approved the appointments of Board Directors Wildaliz De Jesús Arocho, Jeramy Hope, Jarrod Sandell-Hay and Tahlia-Rose Vanissum for two-year terms.

We are pleased to welcome the newly elected Directors to our Board. Their diverse expertise, experience, and skills will strengthen PWDA’s work as a leading disability rights, advocacy and representative organisation of and for all people with disability.

PWDA thanks all candidates who stood for election this year and all members who voted.

At the AGM, we farewelled outgoing Board Directors Trinity Ford, Eva Sifis, Stuart Mawbey and Kevyn Morris, who completed their terms. We thank them for their time, for sharing their expertise, and for their tireless efforts.

Following the AGM, the Board elected the Interim Executive, with Daniel Flynn as President, Jarrod Sandell-Hay as Vice President, Jeramy Hope as Treasurer, and Steph Travers as Secretary.
