Share your experience and help improve access to healing and recovery services

Are you a woman, feminine-identifying or non-binary person with disability who has participated in or tried to access domestic, family and sexual violence healing and recovery services? We want to hear from you.
People with Disability Australia (PWDA) is inviting you to complete a survey as part of our Access to Healing and Recovery project.
Healing and recovery services can include counselling, peer support, trauma recovery programs, art therapy, well-being programs, housing assistance and other support services that help people rebuild their lives after experiencing violence.
We want to understand:
- What has worked well when accessing healing and recovery services.
- What barriers exist and what has made it difficult to get support.
- What supports are needed to make access easier.
- What needs to change to make services safer, more accessible and inclusive.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Your feedback will help inform improvements and access to domestic, family and sexual violence healing and recovery services for women and children with disability.

About the project
PWDA is delivering the Access to Healing and Recovery project to help strengthen the accessibility of healing and recovery services for woman, feminine-identifying or non-binary person with disability across NSW.
People with disability have the right to access safe, inclusive and accessible support after experiencing domestic, family or sexual violence.
The project will work alongside woman, feminine-identifying or non-binary person with disability, healing and recovery services, Aboriginal community-controlled organisations and other partners to identify barriers and develop practical ways to make services more accessible and inclusive.
