People with Disability Australia (PWDA) will be opening nominations for our Board on 23 August.
Every year, PWDA members elect a Board of people with disability who lead our organisation. Nominations will open in six weeks and voting will take place in September and October.
The Board of Directors of PWDA is the voice of our members. The Board’s job is to speak with and for people with disability and to govern the organisation.
Ahead of the PWDA Board election period we want to better understand your nomination and voting habits in order to break down any potential barriers to members joining the Board. Through this we aim to improve the diversity on the PWDA Board. Help us achieve this by taking our short PWDA Board nomination and voting survey that was sent to you via email today. This should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will close on 10 August 2022.
This survey is to inform not only this year’s Board nominations, but also to create a strategy for the future.
